Come to Daddy, my lovely I-20, I will buy you candies, I will buy you PSP, I will buy you PS3, I will buy you a super computer, come to Daddy, my I-20 7/23/2006 The Crazy StoneOne of the chinese movies I liked so much after watching it twice; that I like it is because the movie not only makes me laugh so many times, but also it keeps me thinking about how good it can be echoing back the clues it hides in the previous scenes :) the logic of this movie overall is an A+ I think. I've been watching it twice, but there are still some scenes in the movie I can't find a logical explanantion :) and also that movie is spokean in Mandarin, Chongqing dialect, and Cantonese, so fun watching if you know at least two of those languages. haha

You and your Sag will have tons of adventures together. 7/18/2006 Another Boring Day At HomeYet another boring day staying home. hehe I've been wondering why I needed to go back home :p besides going to a long distant run for about 3KM, and trying some muscle training program, I don't have much to do at home. have to finish up reading some of the great novels (only 2). trying to figure out where I can find some intern, and the problem is now I can only work for a month and within that month I have to take at lest one day or 2 day off for visa renewal.../sigh and yet..hehe my dear I-20 has been refusing to visit me ../shrug :) 7/13/2006 Trip to BeijingIf I'm going to consider LA as an evil place, the Beijing is at the end of the 19th level of H*ll. when I just walked out of the train station and stopped a cab and wanted to go to wang fu jing, which is just 10 RMB drive to the north... guess what I had at the end? a 27 RMB bill.. hehe what a funny experience riding cab in beijing... making a small comparison between the cab drivers in shenzhen and those in beijing is to consolidate my points about evilness of beijing cab drivers. As I have rided the cabs in shenzhen for that long (I only speak mandarin), I have never ever been taken on a long route without oral permission from me beforehand. I've always been taken on a fastest route. Take going to the window of the world from my home as one simply example, I have mostly gotten 22 yuan for the cab fee. however when going to wang fu jing from the beijing station, the driver first, wanted to refuse my service, second took me on a freaking long route, after I gave him a disgusted look of his trivial of rejection. Anyway, for this kind of attitude towards people from outside of beijing, I can forsee some troubles of people traveling in beijing during olympics. one more thing is the restaurant service in beijing >.> they taking order slower, they getting the food on our table slower, they responding to my extra request slower, they even not wanting to apologize, these kinda servants in shenzhen will only face their abrupt end of their "professional" career right away.
