got an excellent opportunity to check out the universities in Onatrio, Canada this thanksgiving holiday.  with half a day off today, I went to McMaster University located in west Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, and talked to some of the professors there about their Ph.D program. although it is very unlikely I will come here for ph.d, but it's always good to talk to math people about math.  and I took some pictures of McMaster University. Every unfortunately, I found out a common phenomenon about the building where math department resides is most likely the oldest, ugliest building in every university......well, it is cold here, and snowing, had fun shoveling the snow off the car's windshield and rare wind today morning.  too cold, which makes me really reluctant to really stay here for more than 4 years >.>  but it's not bad to pay a visit once in a while. the Niagara falls probably are closed >.<
